Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your Kwipsy account and its data at any time. You do not need the app installed to do this.
What gets deleted
Your account, your decks, cards, notes, tags, uploaded and imported media, review history and scheduling state, and sync metadata.
How long it takes
Once Kwipsy is live, we will delete your account and content from our active systems within 30 days of a confirmed request. Backup copies won't be deleted individually — they will expire on their own rotation within a further 30 days, and a backup will never be restored back into the live service. Server logs tied to your account will follow the same 90-day schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
Confirming it's you
Because this permanently removes your data, we confirm a request comes from the account holder before acting on it. Request deletion from the email address on your account, and reply if we ask for anything further to confirm ownership.
What we can't delete on request
Deleting your account will remove the resources our service providers hold on your behalf, such as your files in object storage, once those providers are in place and handling your data. Security and abuse-monitoring records that a provider keeps to protect its own service will not be deletable per request — they will expire on that provider's own retention schedule.
