Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Kwipsy, the flashcard app operated by 큅시 (Kwipsy) ("Kwipsy", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Kwipsy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kwipsy. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under that age, we will close it and delete the associated data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and for any activity that happens through it. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Your content and the licence you grant us

You keep ownership of the decks, cards, notes, tags and media you create or import ("your content"). To run the service, you grant Kwipsy a licence to store, back up, transmit and reproduce your content solely as needed to provide Kwipsy to you — in particular, to sync it across your devices, include it in an export you request, and keep the backups described in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when your content is deleted, subject to the backup timing described there.

Acceptable use

You will not upload or import content you do not have the right to use. This specifically includes:

• patients' medical records or other health information belonging to someone else;
• a current or former employer's confidential or proprietary documents; and
• another person's personal data, uploaded without their permission.

You will not use Kwipsy to store or distribute unlawful content, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to Kwipsy's systems or other users' accounts, or to interfere with the service's operation.

No warranty

Kwipsy is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 큅시 (Kwipsy) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kwipsy. This limitation does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules in the country where you live, which continue to apply alongside these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

If we make a material change to these Terms, we will post the change here and update the date at the top of this page.
